   ^{For the first four years since its inception, PRIME, Inc. - MIDAS has primarily performed the design and engineering end of the work within the shipbuilding industry. Since FY 2000 PRIME, Inc. - MIDAS has expanded into the industrial aspect of shipbuilding. The company completed the long-term lay-up and preservation of one of the nation’s premier shipyard, the ex-General Dynamics Quincy yard. PRIME, Inc. – MIDAS was awarded a five-year Engineering and Industrial Support contract by the U.S. Maritime Administration and in April 2004 was awarded a potentially 15-year engineering services contract by the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC).}

   ^{We have held prime contracts with all of the federal maritime agencies involved with ship design and procurement – Navy, Coast Guard and Maritime Administration.  We have supported NAVSEA R&D and Design over the past several years supporting such diverse programs as the DD 21 (21st Century Destroyer) program, JCC(X) (Joint Command And Control Ship), CVN (Aircraft Carrier) program, and the T-ADCX (Auxiliary Dry Cargo Shuttle Ship) Programs.}

  ^{Corporate experience and past performance typifies highly specialized skills and knowledge in the ship industry.  PRIME, Inc. - MIDAS’s personnel have actively participated in design (conceptual through detailed), life-cycle maintenance, repair and overhaul of ships over their careers at government and commercial design offices and shipyards.  In addition to our cadre of professionals, the client also will have available a large pool of talent that can be obtained as consultants and/or subcontractor.
